Humanity

How can I define one's humanity?

Only minor differences in our nationality,

Our leaders corrupted driven only by vanity,

Often leading to darkness and brutality,

All that can await is nothing but calamity,

Rather than devote ourselves to human monumentality,

Or fixing the differences in economic reality,

We instead divide ourselves by our individuality,

When we could serve our civic functionality,

In defense of others we shouldnt forsake our morality,

Rather help others with a sense of rationality,

Our lives aren't written in totality,

To deprive a human freedom is insanity,

For these rights I would give up my vitality.

That's how I define humanity.
