The Endless Journey

Healing, is not pretty,

Nor inspiring. Neither is the trauma that led me towards,

This painful path of realization, That I need to grow.

Healing is, living in survival mode, When the danger is long gone. It is forgetting that I have the power,

To comfort myself.

Healing can feel like I’m back at the start,

Or... I never left the place that left me scarred.
